Welcome to PORK 2.0! As you'll see in the "PORK History," this publication has had a long and rich history... well, maybe not so much. But my aspirations for "version 2.0" are much higher than for the print zine. I have the powers of TEH INTARWEBS on my side now! *insert evil laugh here*
What I envision for PORK is a place for multiple authors (err... my friends) to post articles about music, movies, books, hobbies, recipes, commentary on the news, etc... something that's both entertaining and useful.

PORK History
Combine teenage boredom with too much technology and the result is: PORK. In the summer of 1998, in between finishing high school and starting at UMass, I used my brand new computer (Pentium II! 4 GB hard drive!!) and its publishing program to create a little zine called PORK. A few of my friends contributed articles. Though the first issue circulated amongst our group of friends, it never got further than that because we lacked a little thing called a mailing list. Fast forward 10 years: now, everyone blogs about everything from politics to pancakes, and no postage is required. Seems like the perfect venue for re-launching PORK. Say hello to PORK 2.0!
